All about Natural Sleep Aids
by admin on Jun.01, 2010, under Health
With all of the natural sleep aids available nowadays, it is hard to believe that doctors still prescribe dangerous drugs for insomnia. There are herbal treatments that work. Changing lifestyle may help and study indicates that brainwave entrainment software is very efficient. We look at each of those things here and a few tips are provided for you to fall asleep fast.
Try Nasal Strips For A Goodnight Sleep
Herbal Remedies
Natural sleep aids recommended by herbalists include passion flower, valerian and chamomile, but you need to remember that herbs have pharmaceutical activity. They were our first drugs. You can become addicted or dependent on them. They should generally be used with caution because unwanted side effects may occur and making you feel hung over.
General Tips to Fall Asleep
When you close your eyes, your brain starts to relax. Breathe deeply. Sleep in a dark room. Turn the TV off. Try sleep with earplugs or a white noise machine whenever your spouse is snoring or any outside noise that bothers you. Yan Muckle’s Fall Asleep CD helps block out background noise and trains the brain. There’s more about that below.
Lifestyle Changes
Other than the things mentioned in the tips to fall asleep, there are several other things that you can do. For an instance, be aware of how much caffeine you take during the day. The Mayo Clinic warns that 500mg or more per day can cause insomnia. That’s similar to five 8 ounce cups of coffee. If you usually order a Starbuck’s Venti in the morning, you’re getting about half of that or 250mg in one serving. Try to get some physical exercise too.
Brain Entrainment Software
Brain entrainment software is the safest and the most effective among all of the natural sleep aids available. There are no unwanted side effects. In fact, there are side “benefits”.
Sleeping well reduces wrinkles, delays the aging process, improves density and energy levels during the day, aids in weight loss and, basically, heals all ailments. Brain entrainment will help you sleep well, reduce stress and help you feel more relaxed throughout the day.
Brain entrainment works by altering brainwaves through audio or visual means. Based on the latest research, the most effective method is audio and Isochronic tones are the best of the audio methods available. Yan Muckle’s Sleep Tracks is one of the few CD programs available that makes use of Isochronic tones. No headphones are required and unlike some of the other tips to fall asleep, it works fast.
If you suffer from insomnia or just have trouble sleeping sometimes, try natural sleep aids before you resort to prescription meds. Based on experience, Yan Muckle’s Sleep Tracks is the most effective.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I would definitely suggest something cheaper unless you have the money for it. It is a great product, but I’d wait until the price goes down. You might be able to find it on some auction sites that sell them when they’re new for pennies on the dollar!

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It¡¯s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
